48th Reunion
The 48th Reunion took place on August 17, 2024 from 2:00PM - 7:15PM at Picnic Area 3 at Hoyt Park.

Unlike the 47th (Medicare) reunion last year, I always planned on having a gathering for our 48th. But this time I wanted to try a different weekend as the previous 3 were all held on Tosa Fest weekend and I got feedback from several classmates that they always had something going on that weekend, so I went with August 17th. Though I thought I was getting the reservation early, Picnic Area #2 was already reserved, but Picnic Area #3 (which is right next store) wasn't so I grabbed that spot. The only real expense is the $95 rental fee and there is no other expense.
One difference for this year was that we faced a real possibility of rain sometime during the event. Consequently we had a couple of tent canopies set up and almost exactly to prediction, the rain came just after 4:00. As was the case for the 47th, we started at 2:00PM. The last of the attendees left at 7:15PM. Our total attendance was 42 - 33 classmates and 9 guests.
